Runner/Barback at Rafel (opening soon)

Objective

As a Runner/Barback at Rafel, you support both the floor and the bar. You make sure food and drinks reach the right place quickly, keep the bar fully stocked, and help the team deliver a smooth service.

You work in the restaurant, at the bar, on the terrace, and during events. You are always on the move, notice what needs to be done, and step in straight away. Experience is a plus, but enthusiasm and a hands-on attitude are more important to us.

Daily tasks

You start your shift by preparing the bar, restaurant, terrace, or event space. You restock drinks, ice, and glassware and make sure every workstation is clean and ready for service.

During service, you bring food and drinks to guests, clear used plates and glassware, and support the floor team wherever needed. You move efficiently between the kitchen, bar, and floor and check that orders are complete.

Behind the bar, you keep glasses, bottles, beer, mixers, and other essentials fully stocked. You wash and organise glassware, clear empty bottles and waste, and keep the bar clean and organised.

During events, you help with setup, service, and clearing up afterwards. You take a practical approach, think ahead, and support your colleagues wherever needed.

Teamwork and collaboration

You will be part of a fun and energetic team. Together, you communicate clearly, support one another when needed, and ensure that every guest experiences Rafel as a welcoming and memorable destination.

Qualifications and skills

Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.
You are hands-on and enjoy an active role.
You communicate clearly and work well as part of a team.
You are physically able to walk, lift, and stand for extended periods.

Working conditions

Varied shifts during the day, evening, and night in the restaurant, bar, terrace, and event spaces.
Flexible working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
