Femicide is not an isolated incident, but a structural problem in society. Court and legal reporter Saskia Belleman and philosopher and journalist Doortje Smithuijsen enter into conversation about the deeper causes behind this violence. They explore sexist patterns of thought, the normalization of control within intimate relationships, and the ways in which the system too often fails to provide adequate protection.
