Vacancy: Breakfast & Lunch Employee

Objective

Contribute to the welcoming service in our restaurant during breakfast and lunch by warmly greeting guests, informing them about the dishes and the breakfast buffet. Ensure that guests have a pleasant start to their day, feel satisfied, and are eager to return again and again.

Daily tasks

• Welcome guests and show them to their tables.
• Take orders and enter them into the Lightspeed system.
• Serve food and drinks to guests.
• Refill the breakfast buffet and ensure a good presentation.
• Clean and set tables.
• Print bills and handle payments.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Follow hygiene and safety guidelines.

Projects

• Contributing to the development and implementation of the breakfast buffet in collaboration with the F&B team.

Teamwork and collaboration

• Enthusiastically sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues.
• An important point of contact for both guests and the team.

Qualifications and skills

• Proven experience in the (higher-end) hotel or restaurant sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Experience working in a hotel is a plus.
• Enthusiastic and inspiring ability to create and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
• Experience with coffee making is a plus.
• Relevant certifications and training in hospitality (e.g., SVH, HACCP) are a plus.

Working conditions

• Early morning shifts for breakfast (starting between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM).
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry light to medium-weight items.
• Indoor environment with a dynamic and sometimes busy atmosphere.
• It may be noisy during peak hours in the restaurant.
