Vacancy: Housekeeping – Public Areas

Objective

As a public area cleaner at the Ambassade Group, you will contribute to a clean, welcoming and attractive environment for guests and colleagues.

Daily tasks

Laundry service
Cleaning of staff locker rooms
Cleaning of all public areas
Cleaning of the Library Bar and Lounge
Corridor cleaning
Cleaning of the toilets (for guests and staff)
Cleaning of the offices (F&B, Herengracht 319 and the hotel)
If necessary, support of the housekeeping team with cleaning of rooms

Projects

Thinking along with improvement of cleaning processes.

Teamwork and collaboration

Monitoring and communication: report any damage or leaks to supervisor.
Support: Support room attendants as needed (in consultation with supervisor).

Qualifications

Experience in a similar cleaning position, preferably in a hotel environment.
Hard skills: Thorough knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
Soft skills: Good communication skills, proactive and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working conditions

Standard working hours with possible variations, including weekends and holidays.
Prolonged standing, frequent lifting of heavy objects, and physical labor during cleaning duties.
Indoor and sometimes outdoor environment.
Contact with cleaning products.
