For our family business on the Amsterdam canals, we are immediately looking for an enthusiastic Head Chef. Are you the one we are looking for?
As head chef you are responsible for the kitchen team and contribute to the development of the total product with respect to food and drinks in our organisation and Restaurant Ambassade in particular. You monitor the progress and quality of the work, whereby legal regulations in the field of safety and hygiene are important. Contact with suppliers, food purchasing and achieving a minimum food cost are also part of this. With your passion and creativity, you give French classics a modern twist. In addition, you enjoy coming into contact with our guests and you love explaining your dishes to them. Together with the Maître D’hôtel you are the face of our Restaurant.

You maintain a (close) cooperation with the department heads of the hotel and you translate the latest (sustainable) trends in the field of cooking and guest experience to your kitchen vision that you and your team have in mind.
