Vacancy Breakfast & Day Supervisor

Objectives

The Breakfast & Day Supervisor is responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating the breakfast team. He/she ensures that the team consistently maintains the appropriate service level through continuous guidance and training. Additionally, the Breakfast & Day Supervisor contributes to optimizing operational processes specifically for breakfast and lunch, ensures compliance with hygiene and safety regulations, and promotes a positive and productive work environment during the morning hours.

Daily tasks
Planning and coordinating daily operations within the breakfast team.
Providing feedback to team members on the floor.
Ensuring excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere.
Resolving any guest issues or complaints in a professional and effective manner.
Managing orders and inventory for both breakfast and the cafeteria.

Projects
Contributing to the development and implementation of the breakfast buffet in collaboration with the F&B team.
Training and developing team members, including product knowledge, coffee expertise, etiquette, and safety training.

Teamwork and collaboration
Enthusiastically sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues.
Key point of contact for both guests and the team.
Collaborating with the Maitre/F&B Manager and other team members to discuss and implement ideas and departmental developments.

Qualifications and skills

Proven experience in the (higher) hotel or restaurant sector.
Experience with team leadership and providing oversight on the work floor.
Thorough knowledge of F&B operations, including product knowledge and hygiene regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a plus.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Enthusiastic and inspiring leadership, with the ability to create and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Relevant certifications and training in hospitality (e.g., SVH, HACCP) are a plus.

Workingconditions

Early morning shifts for breakfast (starting between 06:00-08:00 AM).
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
