Since September 2016, the Ambassade Hotel, in collaboration with producer and media artist Babeth M. VanLoo, organizes the Literary Salon @ Ambassade Hotel. Every month a journalist or writer engages in a dialogue with an author about a book, oeuvre or (current) theme.
Previous guests include Dick Swaab, James Doty, Jarett Kobek, Remco Campert, Annejet van der Zijl, Bas Heijne, Heleen van Royen, Hanna Bervoets, Arnon Grunberg, Deon Meyer, Connie Palmen, David Sedaris, Jan Siebelink, Alma Mathijsen, Tommy Wieringa, Judith Herzberg, Laura van der Haar, Jan Leyers, Femke Halsema, Murat Isik
Interviewers were Stine Jensen, Jeroen Vullings, Abdelkader Benali, Gerard Klaasen, Twan Huys, Hadassah de Boer, Joris Luyendijk.
The salon is free of charge, but a reservation is required due to the limited number of seats. Every edition ends with a festive drink and a signing-session with the author.
