After Eduard Janssen completed an MSc in Real Estate at Kingston University in London, he worked with international real estate companies. Eduard Janssen combines his real estate expertise and strong interest in urban development, history, art and culture into a unique form of hospitality. Besides this, he has been living in the seventeenth-century canal ring area of Amsterdam for more than 20 years. Eduard believes that our view of history shapes the way we view the present. After a brief introduction to the Library Bar’s book collection, Eduard Janssen will guide you through the hotel’s COBRA art collection – one of the largest private COBRA collections in the world. He provides a clear overview of the history and significance of this influential European avant-garde movement and its affiliated artists.

Eduard will also take you to the Ambassade Art Gallery, a new cultural initiative showcasing a curated selection of contemporary artworks.

Join Eduard Janssen for a captivating walk through Amsterdam’s historic centre. Cycling experience is essential for your own safety. In case of poor weather, the tour may be cancelled or – if you wish – converted into a walking tour.
