Lavishly Decorated
with excellent Service
Whether you’re in Amsterdam on business or pleasure, at the Ambassade Hotel you’ll feel at home in this city from the first moment you arrive. The rooms welcome you with their unique atmosphere; most also offer you an exclusive view of the waterways. The hotel has a total of 56 elegant rooms, including 16 deluxe rooms, 9 superior rooms, 2 suites and an apartment.
Individual, generous and cosy
The canal houses of the Ambassade Hotel are built throughout the 17th, 18th and 20th century. Owing to its historical architecture, no two rooms are alike at the Ambassade Hotel. This individual character is further reflected in the variety of décors and colour schemes in the rooms. But they do have certain things in common, such as luxurious furnishings in Louis XVI and Louis XV style. A stimulating contrast is offered by the predominantly 20th century paintings by Theo Wolvecamp and many other artists from the famous Cobra-movement. All this gives each room its inimitable atmosphere of cosmopolitan generosity and typical Dutch cosiness.
Quality amenities
At the Ambassade Hotel you sleep in beds with quality mattresses and large pillows. Each room has a desk and a sitting area with two comfortable armchairs. The luxuriously equipped modern bathrooms all have a shower and most bathrooms also have a bath. You will find bath slippers and a broad assortment of toiletries in the bathroom. All rooms are equipped with a flat screen colour television and a telephone with voicemail plus free broadband and Wi-Fi Internet access. A safe for your valuables is likewise standard and in most rooms these safes boast a charging-capability as well.
