Vacancy: F&B Supervisor

Objective

The F&B Supervisor is co-responsible for managing, coaching and motivating the F&B team. He/she ensures that the team consistently operates at the right service level through continuous guidance and training. In addition, the F&B Supervisor contributes to optimising operational processes, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations and promoting a positive and productive working environment.

Daily tasks

  • Planning and coordinating daily operations within the F&B team.
  • Providing feedback to team members on the floor.
  • Ensuring excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Resolving any problems or complaints from guests in a professional and effective manner.

Projects

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of new menus (food and drinks) and specials in collaboration with the F&B team.
  • Organising training sessions and tastings for the F&B team.

Teamwork and collaboration

  • Ensures clear communication and daily briefings.
  • Coordinates with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and optimal service.
  • Works closely with the maître, Assistant F&B Manager and F&B manager.
  • Participates in F&B meetings to discuss and improve operational issues.

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 2 years in a managerial position within the F&B sector.
  • Knowledge of F&B operations, including product knowledge and hygiene regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing is a plus.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Enthusiastic and inspiring leadership, ability to create and maintain a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Relevant certifications and training in the hospitality industry (e.g. SVH, HACCP) are a plus.

Working conditions

  • Shift between 06:00 – 00:30 (depending on a morning or evening shift).
  • Working in the hospitality sector with a dynamic, international and lively atmosphere.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and sometimes carry heavy trays or objects.
  • Indoor environment, dynamic and sometimes busy atmosphere.
